Favorite Blogs of 2012

I wanted to dedicate a little post to all the blogs that I have thoroughly enjoyed during 2012. Some of them are new ones for me and some.. I have been following for ages. I'll give a short description of their content, just in case you might wanna check it out or are simply looking for new blogs to follow : D If you have any favorite blogs yourself, feel free to share them! I'm mainly interested in fashion, beauty and personal life blogs. Don't advertise your own blog please (that's just weird (when I'm asking for your favorites) AND desperate lol).

NAME: Beautycrush

OWNER: Samantha Maria (Sammi)
MAIN CONTENT: Fashion and beauty

COMMENT: I've been following Sam's YOUTUBE for quite a while and only just recently checked out her blog. Sadly many youtubers only use their blogs to promote their videos, so I feared that her blog would have no different content than her videos. However... boy, was I surprised. Lots of fashion posts with great advice and awesome outfits! She also has a shit ton of tattoos, she loves piercings and is all about being herself. So inspiring! She links to her twitter, instagram etc. on the site too, so go check it out if you're into fashion. I personally think that she has amazing style (and I might admit to having a teeny tiny girl crush on her lol). She's just perfect alright! Her boyfriend (RICKY) is super funny too! Go check 'em both out ^__^)/ They did VLOGMAS this past Christmas and ugh.. so much food in their videos! Nyam nyam nyam!

NAME:HauteKeikk
OWNER: Kristina (Keikk)

MAIN CONTENT:Fashion

COMMENT: As she's (in my opinion anyway) the best and most stylish gyaru-inspired girl from Scandinavia (or just from Europe in general), I absolutely love her blog. She does a lot of outfit posts, does YOUTUBE videos once in a while, personal updates, beauty posts AND has a boyfriend who owns the CUTEST pitbull I have ever seen in my life (Ginah I love youuuuu! ♡ Hahaha)~! I've been following Keikk for the longest time (since.. 2009, maybe?) and she never seizes to entertain me with her posts. Go check it out if you love the casual mix of personal posts and informative fashion advice.

NAME: CupcakexCouture

OWNER: Viivi
MAIN CONTENT: Gyaru and fashion

COMMENT: LOADS and LOADS of gyaru fashion is to be found on Viivi's blog. She has the dopest look out of all gaijin gyaru if you ask me and she's super funny too. I love her posts and she does actually also post a lot of food (which I love too T_T) and party pictures. Her style is very much out there but it suits her so well. I've been following this blog for a while too and I love it. She's been very nice with translating the main content of her posts into English so even non-Fins can keep up too!

NAME: Jeongie

OWNER: Hee Jeong/Ane
MAIN CONTENT: Personal, fashion and beauty (and felines)

COMMENT: Ahhh, Jeongie! 'tis my homegurl! Now, I don't list her on here just because she's my friend. I actually do very much enjoy her blog and have probably been following it since before I met her... wait.. is that creepy? ; D Lol. I love her blog! She's so stylish and gorgeous but always so humble! I love her personal posts (and especially her rage ones, hoho!) and.. well, actually I love all her posts. lol. LOVE YOU LONG TIME OK ♡ You guys should go follow her if you don't already! She looks like a mix of G.NA and Hyuna! D: so pretty! (and so unfair T_T)

NAME: MadeinDK

OWNER: Amanda
MAIN CONTENT: Fashion, personal, beauty

COMMENT: This blog is mainly in Danish, but since I don't follow many Danish blogs (I may follow 2 or 3) I absolutely love this one. Not because it's in Danish, but because Amanda's posts are so simplistic yet informative and entertaining. She's a very young girl but she definitely knows what she wants and she's not afraid to speak her mind if someone is being unfair. She doesn't censor herself and she gets her message across without being rude and demeaning. She's very humble and she truly appreciates her friends and family and will definitely do whatever it takes to protect and defend them. She's very grateful for what she has and I think she's one of the few shining lights of hope in her generation of a lot of rotten apples. If you speak Danish and would like to follow a fashion blog with a bit of substance to it as well, you should definitely check it out! Amanda, du er for sej! ^__^)/

NAME: Xiaxue

OWNER: Wendy Cheng
MAIN CONTENT: Personal, fashion, beauty and out-calls

COMMENT: Now, I know that a lot of you probably think that Xiaxue is a dumb blonde.. but hear me out here. I, personally, believe that Wendy is one of the most intelligent people that resides on the internet (or well, she resides in Singapore with her husband, Mike, but you know what I mean). She's smart, beautiful, suuuuper funny and not afraid to throw punches at people who believe that they have the right to treat others like trash. She confronts haters head-on and won't hold back to give you what you deserve, if you're being a pathetic little chauvinist piece of shit. lol. I just love her, okay. You don't even understand how much I love this blogger. She's attacked and hated for so many reasons, yet she is a great example of a blogger who created (and is now living off of) her own brand - her name. Xiaxue  has turned into a world-known phenomenon and majority of other bloggers know her. She's known for being brutally honest without being hateful. She will present well articulated arguments in her discussions of problems and she doesn't seem to mind that she has haters. She knows that she's not perfect and her possession of self-irony and confidence is beyond inspiring. 

NAME: Oddness/Weirdness

OWNER: Erika
MAIN CONTENT: KPOP/HALLYU news and fashion

COMMENT: Now, I mainly follow this blog for the fashion posts. Erika is doing a great job of updating often and including good pictures. She brings news - but she doesn't push her opinion on you and she doesn't believe everything that the media tells her.. meaning she doesn't just blindly pass on news. I love her site for her honesty and her little quirky comments here and there in her entries that never fail to make me giggle. Hoho! She has a good sense of reality and isn't afraid to put her opinions out there, knowing that people will most likely slaughter her for them (we all know that kpop fans are crazy lol). I don't trust allkpop (and neither does she, yay!) so her site is a good source for me for news. However, I loooove her fashion posts. Hoho! She finds pics of stars with outfits and posts sources and information about the outfits and where you can find them - or she simply posts the picture and goes "what the fuck were you thinking, TOP, wearing a flipping tent to an important event?!" LOL. So funny! Her birthday was about a week ago, so happy belated birthday, Erika! Hope you had a good one. Keep doing what you do!
