Ahh, what a girl wouldn't do for cake...

Warning: I hereby over rule all previous comments about me not being pro enough to do long intros. My inner self obviously doesn't care. lol. BTW, thanks for all the entries for my giveaway - AND for all the fabulous comments on my previous entry! Love you guyyyys \(^3^)/

We all know that girls love chocolate.. (and if your girl doesn't like chocolate.. there better be something wrong with her! lol) Chocolate is our comfort.. Our savior when our parents suck, when our older brother is being an intrusive douchebag and when that special someone seems to be blind to our existence.
Majority of us fabulous fatties out there like cake too! And at one point one genius (most likely woman) creature decided to join these two LOVELY concepts into one, fabulously fattening but oh-so-yummy dish - the chocolate cake.
My parents were going to a board meeting in their region of the Newfoundland Club this afternoon, so my father kindly asked me to bake some sort of cake for the event - and oh, why not? I like cake, I like to bake and I like other people who like my baking of a cake. lol. So yeah, I'm here to share with you some photos, a quick ''How to''-recipe along with some ego ness further below (no sexual!).. So yeah.. let's get to it.

Before getting my hands dirty in chocolate (nomnomnom!) I like to say a prayer for the inventors of chocolate, its delight and amazing features: Dr. James Baker, Conrad Van Houten and Swiss Rodolphe. THANKS guys

lol. Now let's get to it! \(^o^)/ I included some pictures for you guys~

For one cake (approx. 8-12 servings)
Cake dough:
100 gr. soft butter or margarine
150 gr. sugar
4 eggs
50 gr. of wheat flour
125 grams of dark, cooking chocolate

Frosting:
100 gr. butter
2 tbsp. of cocoa (dark, unsweetened)
200 gr. icing sugar
2 tbsp. strong coffee
A bit of vanilla

Using an electric mixer (or w/e they're called) is much easier than mixing by hand. Worth considering.. -nods-

Weigh all ingredients. I always do this first, because it makes it easier than having to go back and measure or weigh every time you add a new ingredient.
1)  Put the chocolate in a small bowl and melt it in a pot of semi-boiling water. (this prevents the chocolate from burning when heated)
2) Mix butter and sugar to make it white and whispy. Add the egg-yolks one at a time and mix well in between (put the whites in a separate bowl)
3) Originally the recipe says to add 75 gr. of raisins to the flour before adding, but I hate raisins. lol. So I'm not gonna (^_~)/
4) Add the chocolate to the mixture. Make sure it's not too hot! After mixing well - add the flour little by little while mixing.

5) Whip the egg whites till they're white and stiff.
6) Add them to the mixture - at first you just wanna turn and flip the dough gently with the spatula.
7) Give it a quick, good stir and it should look nicely blended together like in the pic.
8) Pour the dough in a buttered tin and pop it in the preheated oven (at 175℃, regular - not hot-air) for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Let the cake rest for a good 30-45 minutes. While it cools off, you can prepare the frosting.

1) Melt the butter halfway (not too much)
2) Add the icing sugar, cocoa and vanilla. Mix well. Add a bit of the cold coffe and mix till satisfied.
3) Spread the frosting onto the cooled cake (if the cake is too hot, the frosting will melt -__-")
4) And you're done! You can put the cake in the fridge for about half an hour + before serving - or you can serve it up right away!

Good luck!

AAAAND.. because I had absolutely nothing to do today, I decided to smear on some makeup and take a few photos. As you can obviously tell my outfit is pretty damn casual.. haha! I didn't really bother to dress up. I'm growing quite fond of my lenses, actually. I don't know why.. They're not the most comfortable in the world. I have to apply a bit of solution from time to other, but I think it's Photoshop's fault. lol. I'm VERY focused when working my hardcore PS skillZ. Hahaha!

Ahh, excuse my rather awkward facial expression on the right. lol

Top: Only
Shorts: Only
Leggings: Milla

Lastly... Ahhhh~ TAKEOUT!
This is my ULTIMATE favorite dish to get from our local pizza place, Kebab House. Aidan (who I guess is a co-owner) knows my order, haha! When I come in he's always like ''Oh, just the usual #73 without mushroom sauce?" Hahahaha.. I like that. But then again, I might be ordering it a bit too much. OH WELL! I love this stuff! Döner kebab, potatoes (they used to be sliced, but now they're little potato ''boats'' instead ó__Ò" boo!), mixed salad with dressing and bearnaise. NOMNOMNOM!

MANNN, me and my long-ass entries! I'm so sorry you guys.. You're gonna see me apologizing for making these long entries until hell freezes over, I guess.. I hope you liked it anyway - and if the text was too massive, I hope you'll at least enjoy the pics \(^3^)/

Until next time guys!
And btw.. Just a reminder: 2½ days left of my giveaway now!

Much love

Something appears to have died on your head, miss~

Helloooo blog readers/followers/stalkers~
I hope you're doing okay - all of you, of course!

Since my last entry, I've been trying to come up with something to write about. To be honest I could go on and on about ehh.. let's sayyy.. my SID album finally being shipped out (WOOO~!), me actually wearing circle lenses today, kkcenterhk boosting prices with the excuse that ''all over the world companies raise prices with 50%" (which would make sense if they hadn't been boosted with 100%+ on their own website, lol) and me drinking excessive amounts of Pepsi Max lately.

Generally, I'm just gonna post a huge load of photos.. because I'm a cam-whore and because I love the fact that the guy from WHOOGA-eu called me a Fashion-blogger \(*___*);; ♡ am I really a fashion blogger? And what even defines a fashion blogger? Man.. so many things to consider now that I'm a "fashion blogger" - if I even am one?! It's not that I only post about fashion.. I post amount many things. But fashion is a new bulb that lit just above my curly, little head.. -sigh- Labels, labels.. who cares anyway.

Moving on!

As mentioned.. I'm actually wearing circle lenses today! WOOOO! How cool is that? I'm pretty clumsy, so of course I dropped them like twice before finally pushing them in place (that sounded so incredibly violent.. lol). I think it looks decent. I really don't wanna end up looking like those crazy, droopy-eyed, white gyaru chicks who look more like surprised monsters than FABULOUS gyaru girls.. -__-" I'm sticking with nothing bigger than 14mm. My own eyes are 13mm. + a bit, so these lenses don't show up on cam. But irl and on digi cam they show up a bit. I actually really like them! They emphasize my own eye-color pretty well without making me look freaky... or well, freakier than usual. lol

Anyway... I was inspired by Keikk to try out my old faux fur hat. Faux fur is (and will always be) super in with gyaru, so why not give this old sucker another try. I've always  had quite the lot of trouble with this thing.. It just HAS to make the top of my head flat and narrow and let my hair hang all over the place, big and wavy. I don't know.. I've just never been lucky with hats. I asked Keikk how on EAAAAARTH she made it work with hers.. without looking all weirdly face-shaped. She told me to just go for it.. and so I did. Cause I'm a kid in kindergarten.. I need someone older and wiser to tell me what to do. lol

After deciding that ''ohhhh, it doesn't look THAT bad, aye?'' I decided to pose a bit. Cause I'm a dork (and a fashion-blogger, lol). Bear with me, guys.. It's Thursday and I have no job, no people to hang out with (cause I live in the middle of nowhere) and generally no life.

^ fashion-blogger pose. MWHAHA \(^o^)/

A few days ago I finally spent (most of) my Matas giftcard. There was a bit less than $40 on it, so I decided to spend it on an emergency-rescue-kit for my nails. They've been chipping like there's no tomorrow, so I've been really desperate to find something nice for them.

I decided on the Mavala Protective Base Coat and their Nail strengthener. You can't tell that well from the tiny nail-photo, but my nails look like someone tried to chop them off with hammer and sickle or something. It's really ugly. lol
In my current state of absolute poordom, I decided to check out Gina Tricot's website.. I saw the shown belt on Chinsa's website and decided to check out the site for myself. Majority are some of their latest pieces (I'm guessing for spring) and they're super cute! I'm especially craving the striped shirts, the blazer and the belt - SO CUTE!
I mean.. look at the striped, long-sleeve that ties in the back?! Ahhhhh so cuuuute~ \(^3^)/ The printed tee is really cute too.. Ahh, in general I just want it all! STUPID BANK ACCOUNT! Fill yourself up, dammit!

Now to something different.. kinda/sorta/maybe.. HAIR!
I know, I knoooow - I just had a haircut. BUT, I found a few photos of kpoppers whose styles I wanna try out..

First up is the EPIC coloring of Jessica's hair in "Run Devil Run". A lot of people have been talking about this, and I still think it's pure.. well, epic. lol. I used to have dark stripes before, but since I went 'au naturel' I just didn't think much about it.. at least not until a week ago. I really want them done pro. Cause home-dye and salon dye are two VERY different things. I just really like the effortless look of her coloring.. *sigh*

And of course.. Jun Hyo Sung was the only one I could come up with that had this style (as I'm still learning my J-models' names. lol) She's the leader of Secret and these pictures are snaps from their MADONNA music video. I LOVE THIS UP-DO! It's so cute! Sadly, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do this thing.. Would it be with a side ponytail and a lot of hair here and there..? I tried following one of the EGG 'tutorials' but everyone knows that magazine tutorials are crappy. lol. I just couldn't see exactly what was going on.. so yeah.. I gave up. If any of you guys know of a good site/youtuber/whatever who does this hairstyle, feel free to redirect me with a link!

Oh bummer.. what's with the long-ass entries? SORRY GUYS! I know that I'm not 'pro' enough to pull off the mile-long entries yet. I shall try to suppress the urge. lol.
Thanks for reading, y'all!

And don't forget to join my giveaway!
Much love

EDIT: Yinnie finally did the post on all the goods I got her :''D WOO! Check it out HERE

Attempted Style-Post #1

So, are you guys excited? It's time for my first actual style-post (cause hauls don't count, lol).. A lot of you requested more style-related posts with more photos of me in them, so here you have it. This is gonna be a long post, though, so it's gonna take a while for me to write - and a while for you to read. Haha! I guess that makes us even.. (^o^')/ Anyway, I hope you guys like it! Let me know in the comments~

x One thing, I will add, is that the shadow changes in some of the pictures.. I'm not quite sure why, but suddenly it just decided to look different even tho the settings were the same. If any of you guys have a way to fix this - please let me know.
I've been trying to go through some of the EGG and ViVi magazines that I found.. I have no intentions of copying everything from these models, because that'd just feel too fake to me. To be honest, I think style is all about adopting, adapting and rocking it! Haha! Sadly.. most of the 'gyaru scene' in Europe does not agree. I've lurked around on both everyday_gyaru and gyaru_secrets and I'm quite surprised to see what's on there.. Majority of the content is all about hating on each other for being the ''shittier'' gyaru. Constructive criticism may appear, but that'll be quickly translated into a mean secret the week after.. Phuu~ I definitely won't be asking those girls for advice, that's for sure. m( _ _#)m

Anyway, as mentioned.. I looked through some of the magazines. I do like quite a few of the gyaru trends these days. Some of these pictures are a bit old, but I still think that they'd apply to current tendencies here and there.
First off (look at the shadows changing.. wtf?), I have to admit that I suck at names. Especially on people that I don't see often - not to mention magazine models. lol. I know that the blonde girl is Yumachi.. but the dark-haired.. Ehhhh~ \(~__^).. hehehe

To their outfits.. Okay, I'm not a super skinny girl.. Most of my pictures are proof of that. There's no way in hell that I'd walk down the street in a skirt that short, showing off my fat thighs. LOL. I possess a tad too much empathy to exploit other people to that.. I wouldn't mind wearing a skirt that short with leggings, tho, which I guess is a bit contradicting.. but I feel that leggings tighten around my legs and kind of 'gather the mess', haha! I'm also really digging the 'destroyed leggings/jeans'-trend with a big, oversized shirt over it. And yeah.. not to mention the foxtail. My own is still chilling on my shelf. I wore it once but then started to feel a bit weird about it. I don't know.. it looks really good, but good god. It could be a dog/fox/unicorn! T_T;

Faux fur is always big in gyaru, it seems. I LOVE faux fur.. especially on boots. I love my heeled boots that my mom got me. They're super cute and all, but they're not very warm in the toe-area. I noticed a lot of girls saying that UGGs aren't exactly the "prettiest boots to wear" - a whut? I LOVE UGGs! Or just similar styles to it.. it's the cutest boot ever! How can you not love UGGs? Here in Denmark we tend to call them bear-boots or teddy-boots. Haha! That just made the cute-factor rise big time, yeh? Here are a few of my winter-favorites..
Now, those kkongs boots are to die for! Obviously I would want some that could be worn outside.. Cause I don't really wear house-shoes. I think it's a rather weird concept.. So yeah, I wear fluffy socks. Haha \(^_~)/

I'm also pretty into high-heeled boots with faux fur detailing, maybe a wedge and some straps here and there. I think it makes the boot at bit more edgy.. Or well, here I go sounding as if I know what I'm talking about. lol. I swear, you guys, this sudden interest for fashion really caught me off-guard. I've never been into fashion and here I am trying to explain to you guys, how the detailing on this particular boot is soooo in this season. *sigh* I don't know.. I hope you enjoy the entry, even though I'm quite the n00b.

Anyway, this is a little 'thing' I've been wanting to try for a while.. I guess you can compare it to ''Steal the Style'' or ''Get the Look'' reports. Haha.. I found this really cute outfit in a mag.-scan and decided to check YesStyle to see if I could find something rather similar to rock this look with some day.
I was pleasantly surprised as I found a lot of items that could pass for somewhat similar to what she's wearing.. Anyway, I'm LOVING her casual yet super feminine outfit. Sadly I couldn't really see much of her pumps as there was writing all over the bottom of the page, but I got enough to see that they were pumps... and red! As mentioned I just went through YesStyle to see what I could find and did this little collage of what I could come up with. I wrote the brand-name next to the item so that you can simply search the brand name and find the item that way (if you feel tempted to try her look out - which I definitely do!)..

Ahh, it's so inspiring to look through all these websites with clothing, shoes and accessories to put together an outfit, haha! ~(^3^)/

Before leaving I just wanted to share these photos with you guys.. I got to try out the less 'spiky' kind of lashes that I got from kkcenterhk. I definitely prefer the spiky pair, even tho these seem a bit easier to apply.. I'm not quite sure why, but oh well.. I did a semi-smokey look with a taupe lid color, a nude lip and some liner.. Don't mind the retarded poses.. I was trying out the auto-shutter-thingie on my camera. It's quite a lot of fun! Sadly it only takes one photo and then you have to go back into the settings and set it to auto again. -__-"

Someone give me a posing-lesson! *grabs random fashion blogger* Teach meee! (#ò__ó)/
Ohh and look at my side-pony! Hahaha.. It looks pretty cute, non? \(^3^)/ kawaii-desu-neeeee.. okay, nevermind. I'm not even gonna go there. SHUSH Nani, SHUSH!

Oh.. and lastly, I'd like to introduce you guys to my DVD player that's been sitting in its box for almost 1½ years. lol. Tanja finally plugged it in and set it up for me.. WOO I can watch Sex & the City again now! SCOORE!

Haha, I hope you guys got through this entry alright.. It's okay if you just looked at pictures.
Hope you liked it :''D
Talk to you all soon!

It's gonna get messy, y'all!

YES GUYS!

I'm working on a new layout. So this is gonna look like A MESS from now on and maybe throughout the afternoon/early night. I prefer to get layouts and graphics switched out as fast as possible, cause I don't really like my site lookin' like a hot mess. lol.

As you can also pretty much tell from the photo, I got my haircut! YAY! I'm so darn ready for spring to come.. To top off my longing for spring, we just got like 5 inches of snow over the past 1½ days. EHH? Who the heck decided that we needed more snow. I need a word with the bigger man upstairs, yeh. Bsh.. I'm sick of snow. It's so cold and my room is really poorly insulated. When it snows it's cold in here - especially if it's stormy outside as well. Ughh.. at least it's rather wind-still.

Anyway.. I brought THIS photo to the salon. Our printer was acting insane, so I had to search Keikk's site (oh my, I'm such a creepo.. T_T; ) for a bigger photo where her ''parting'' is visible. I actually had my hair pretty damn close to hers a while back, but the parting was different. I had mine all ghetto pulled forward from the back (all jrock style, lol). It was requested that I did a post on both the photo(s) I brought along with some pics of the result. So yeah, here we go:

This time I wanted something more... girly. lol. Being a girl that used to NEVER give a sh!t about appearance, hair, skincare, clothes etc., it's rather difficult to find myself in this mess of fashion, hair and make. Or well.. I always loved makeup, haha, but finding looks that go with my eye shape, doing cream liner (which I suck at atm) and putting on falsies (I suck at that too, but not as much as the liner).. oh man, it's so weird. I've been eagerly practicing the liner for a while, cause I didn't wanna do this sort of 'look' while looking like a weirdo. I think it turned out alright. I definitely need more practice, though.

Anyway, as said - I'm excusing the mess that'll be this site very soon, haha! ALSO, I hope that you guys will like the layout *_* It took me like 5 hours to put together.. lol. I forgot how much fun (and time) Photoshop is (and takes)! : D
Hope you like the photos as well..

Talk to you soon ^^v

MUCH LOVE

My milkshake brings all the bloggers to the yarrrrd ♫

Hellooo!
I'm finally back you guys!
- or actually, I got back yesterday around 2PM, but me blogging was just not gonna happen. I tried editing some photos but I just ran dead halfway through, so I gave up and looked through people's blogs insteads. So many entries to read after being gone for a week : D

I brought back some random photos (mostly of food) and then a small update on things. But first! To all the random photos.. lol. I always cook at lot at Tanja's place, so obviously there'll be a lot of food, candy or drinks. Haha!

My mom bought me this cute, purple dress a while back. She found it at a store discounted from $28 to $7,50! WOO for bargains! Thanks mom ♥

I also finally got my kkcenterhk lashes after waiting since Jan. 24th or something. BSH, I hate slow shipping. These are the 'ES A801'-style (on the right) and some other style that I can't find (on the left). Boo.. The ES A801 ones are a lot longer IRL than they look on the site.. which makes me happy. Haha!

★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★

Tanja's dad's wife taught us how to do these really yummy milkshakes with milk, frozen strawberries and a tiny bit of sugar. You just pour it into a high container (that comes with the hand blender - don't wanna use a regular glass, as the blender may break it), blend it with a hand blender, pour it into tall glasses, add a straw and enjoyyy.

Here's what you need for one serving:
2 dl. of milk
1 tea sp. of sugar
6-8 frozen strawberries

You can always use whatever kind of milk you want, add as much sugar as you prefer etc. You can also try with different kinds of berries and fruits. (blackberries, raspberries, banana, mango etc.) It's super low on fat and general calories, because you don't need to add ice cream to give it that airy, whipped consistency. SO delicious!

★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★

Guess what else I got at Tanja's place?
ANOTHER BREAK-OUT!

ARGHHHHH wtf?! I don't know what the heck is going on! The past three times I've been to her apartment I've gotten break-outs, even though I bring my skincare and cleanse my face as usual. I'm thinking that it's the water there, because after the first shower I took, my skin started looking weird. I got tiny bums, redness and 5-6 pimples near my chin, up towards the cheek bone and on my forehead. I looked TERRIBLE! I still have a bit of scarring left, but the redness isn't so visible anymore. Still got some bumps left as well, but hopefully it'll go away soon.

★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★

Now to a something I've been excited to talk to you guys about.. I've been having MASSIVE hair-issues lately. As many of you may already know, my hair is naturally extremely wavy, leaning towards almost curly in some areas. I've learned to really appreciate my waves over the years, but this also means that having long bangs just doesn't work. I intended to grow out ALL my hair (bangs included) and keep my bangs 'neutral' to the side with my other hair. But that just doesn't work. It parts really awkwardly because my hair is too heavy to stay on the side, so it just looks ridiculous by now..

My fabulous mom made a deal with me - she'd pay half of the cost for a haircut, if I could pay the other half myself. WOOOO for moms! \(^o^)/ -dances- So now.. I'm trying to gather photos. I found these three:

I hope I don't seem like too much of a Keikk-stalker for using one of her photos O_x"

What do you guys think? (press pic for larger version)

They all represent what I want pretty well. The two last photos (on top of eachother) are photos of my hair around spring/early summer last year. I really miss those bangs. Whenever they grew too long, I could just snatch up my mom's dog scissors and chop them shorter again.. Super convenient..

Anyway.. that's it for now, guys!
Until next time...

MUCH LOVE
♥ ♥ ♥

(I'm thinking about postponing the end date, as I don't feel that there are enough entries.. *sigh* I'm so impatient T_T;)
