Time to say goodbye...

It's my last day as an employee of Aldi Market. A part of me is glad that this is all over, but I know that I'll miss my colleagues horribly. A shout-out goes to Mette and Jeanette ♥ - You guys rock my sucks off : D

To somewhat celebrate I put on a bit of eyeshadow. Can you guess what palette I used? ; D I hope it'll last throughout the day, though. Hah! I did put on Shadow Insurance.. but we'll see how it goes : D This'll be my way of dressing up for the customers a bit to say goodbye. We'll see eventually if they notice that I'm gone.. I kinda hope that they do, cause a lot of them were really nice to me and said, that I didn't look like your typical, shitty Aldi employee. Haha! Ohh, I love how some of the customers form their compliments in a rather.. interesting way.

All homemade Indonesian spring rolls and sweet/sour chicken.. Chinese noodles and prawn snacks. It was yummeeeehhh.. My stomach doesn't like spicy food, but the chicken was balancing JUST on the edge of being too spicy.. I liked it a lot! Way to go Mom and Dad! : D (they're magicians in the kitchen, guys! Trust me!)

The creme grays are taking over!

At least in my case! I'm LOVING this season's overwhelming variety of creme grays in nail polishes! A while back I got my first creme gray nail polish by GOSH called Miss Gray and I freaking LOVE it!

This morning (more like 10:30, haha) I woke up to a care package from my girlfriend - how cute is that? She sent me a bag of my favorite liquorice pretzels (with corn starch in them instead of pork gelatine) and the latest volume of Fullmetal Alchemist (manga). D'aww ♥ ♥ I love youuu, woman!! This one sure knows how to put a smile on my face :''D Even my mom was like 'Aww!'. Haha! Thank you so much, babe ♥

As many of you may already know, I'm planning a massive giveaway to celebrate my 100th follower. It's WAYYY overdue - and I'm really sorry.. That's it - I'm done!

Hey all..

So I come to you with a delayed FOTD from this sunday - AND a photo of my girlfriend with the breakfast I made her.

We celebrated our 8 months Anniversary this sunday, so that's definitely worth mentioning. I'm blogging about it pretty late though, mainly because I've had a lot of things on my mind. One of the major things will be mentioned in the end of this entry - so stick with me ; D

Generally this is what I wore - both hair and makeup - to work on Sunday. I worked from 12 (noon) till 5:15PM, which isn't really a long shift. I'd say the 9AM-8:15PM are the worst, haha! But oh well.. It's money in the bank, yeah?

It's the all-time favorite face of mine. The '':3''-face.. Wow, the flash really reflects light, huh? I look pale..

I normally never really do ANYTHING about my hair, but I decided that braiding my bangs was the way to go. Haha! I hate braiding my hair, cause I think it's too troublesome and I really don't care. My bangs are always a mess, cause they always go the completely opposite way of what I intend them to. Anyway, I'm wearing my daily foundation (Revlon Colorstay Active in 004 Nude), my face powder by L'oréal (which I hate) and my L'oréal bronzer (which I also kinda hate).. On my lips I'm wearing the Revlon Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Crystals (which I LOVE) and my mascara is my all-time favorite mascara - the L'oréal Panoramic Curl in Blackest Black.. *kicks Procter & Gamble for testing on animals* (I HATE YOU FOR IT!!!)

AAAAANYhoozle... To the whole not-so-awesome thing about this entry. As the title indicates, this is not all fotd and love in an entry. I basically have an announcement. I don't regret my decision, but I think it sucks. Cause I love what I do.. But it's come down to me having to quit my job. Not because I couldn't deal with it, but because the new 'head of district' (or whatever they're called) is a plain... yeah, I'm gonna say it.. a-hole. I guess I'll take the risk of being sued for talking negatively about the person here, but I just can't take the bullshit anymore - and I'm not going to either! So per 31st of October this year, I won't be an employer at ALDI anymore. They can kiss my bony ass - truth be told. I'm thinking about calling the local beauty supplies stores (we don't have many of them though..) and then I also figured, that I'd go to one of our two pizza places to ask for a waitress job. As long as I don't have to MAKE the food, then I guess I'll be alright. This is for making money - which I really need.

As said, I'm having no regrets or anything - it just sucks that I've had to quit. Especially cause my colleagues are so AWESOME! I made cinnamon rolls today btw, and I'm bringing in two bags tomorrow : D One for each of the girls that I have to work with.. Or well, one for my colleague there tomorrow, and one for one who'll be coming down later to say hi. She's ill, so it'll be my ''Get well soon''-goodie to her. If she reads this btw, this is how she'll know.

*sigh* I fucking hate this, excuse my french, but I really do. The customers are so nice to me, my colleagues are awesome, I get a decent hour pay.. *kicks around* This is just not.. my.. month.. I guess. If you know of any places that are hiring - or have great tips for job interviews, feel free to leave a comment or something. Some moral support never hurt no one either.. ó_Ò'

ALSO.. before we drown in self pity here.. on a more positive note, I'm writing LOOONG shopping lists for my giveaway. If there's anything you guys would want in the giveaway, please let me know. I'd prefer giving out stuff that you'd actually want, and so far it'll mainly consist of things that I personally love and can't live without.. I'd also like to take a few sentences' space to really THANK YOU ALL for following, commenting, liking and generally just reading my posts. It really means a lot to me to know that I'm not just blabbering into cyberspace entertaining a Pedobear or two.. Haha xD

Makeup for Glasses!

Hey guys..

So as I was requested to do a look for glasses, I decided to try it out. These glasses look really awkward on me though, as I do NOT wear glasses myself. I just borrowed my mom's glasses for reference. Haha! I hope you guys like it!

Now to the tutorial...

How to:

• First I started off with a clean, moisturized face. I applied my Revlon PhotoReady (yes, I made it work! Woo!) in '004 Nude' all over my face and on my jaw an old L'oréal mineral powder, just to set it so it doesn't smudge under the glasses.

• I applied my blush (elf's mineral blush in 'Joy') on my apples and blended it up towards my cheekbones.

• I used my 'Thriving' bronzer by L'oréal (Jeezy Chreezy, how I wish I had a different bronzer..) to contour under my cheekbones and applied it under my chin as well.

• I then (using my Coastal Scents #88 Matte Palette) applied a light, shimmery peach/brown color all over the lid, and put a dark taupe/greyish color in the outer corner. I dragged the color into the crease a bit and feathered it a little in towards the middle of the lid. Remember to blend out well! I also took a bit of that dark taupe-color and applied it on the outer 1/3rd part of my lower lash line.

• Then I took my NYX Slim Pencil in '901 Black' and tightlined. This gives the illusion of fuller lashes and makes the eye color stand out a bit more intense behind the frames.

• I curled my lashes and applied my favorite mascara, L'oréal Panoramic Curl in 'Blackest Black'.

• To top it all off I applied my Revlon Lustrous Lipgloss in 'Pink Crystals' (damn, I love this one!), to give it a nude, glossy finish. If you have very dark lips, you can always apply a nude lipstick on top and then apply the gloss. If you dare, you can also apply a bright fuchsia or a dark Bordeaux color to really emphasize the color of your glasses.

Also.. if ANY of you guys happen to be related or in touch with ANYONE in the Naruto-team (I'm talking about the anime here..).. Would you PLEAAAASE tell them to stop making lame-ass fillers!? The episodes now are so freaking lame.. Filler after filler.. STOP EEEET, DAMMIT! We're excited to see what happens to Konoha, when Sasuke will strike with his team, if and how Akatsuki will get their revenge on Naruto kicking Nagato's ass etc. etc.! So cut it out, fools! Get on with the story!

And on a side note, after cooling down from the Naruto-experience earlier today, as I was VERY upset with being forced to watch another shitty filler, a lot of things have been going on at work. This leads to a rather sad decision for me, but sometimes you gotta prioritize yourself first, you know? I'm not gonna get into this any further until this is all over with at the end of October, but I definitely will let you guys know what happened. So far all I can say is, that Hitler apparently is not dead. At least not where I work.. To cut it short; we got a new head of district. Ohhh my~

Package from overseas!

When I got downstairs this morning, I noticed a package sitting on my end of the dining table. I'd spoken to Yinnie yesterday, so automatically I assumed that the package was from her.. Though a bit bigger than expected.

When I finally got a closer look at it, I noticed that the name did NOT say Miss Chung. It said something like... Tøøøøøn Laaaaaaay ; D Now, I already knew a few of the things in the package.

I managed to talk him into getting me some liquid makeup, cause as I've said SOOO many times before, the market for foundation here is VERY poor (mostly because Danish people don't know the difference between foundation and self tanning lotion -__-"). So I'm REALLY excited about these two.. As I didn't have the opportunity to swatch them, I went to Marlena's website to check out the review and swatches and I decided to get 004 Nude and 005 Natural Beige. I'm SO excited to try these out! I watched Holly's review of these babies as well, so I'm eager to try them out! Poor Tuan for having to actually go to the store and pick up makeup.. D'aww ♥

Now, the other thing(s), that I already knew was/were coming, was a shit load of Melty Blends. Melty Blends are these soft, chocolaty, fudge candies. You can get them in a wide variety of flavors, and apparently this time, Tuan felt like going for a strawberry party. He also got me some Sweets Tortes (a tiny biscuit with milk-stuffing on it, covered in chocolate) There are also some regular chocolate Melty Blends in between all of this..

Of course Loserboy got me a card. Tuan is PROOOO at finding cards and he always finds the weirdest, most outrageous cards out there. His sense of humor is pretty fucking awesome, but I'm not gonna show you what he wrote inside.. Mainly because it's inappropriate. lol

Now lastly he got me this extra thing. I did NOT expect this, even though I had mentioned it to him as I was raging about the high prices AND the high shipping fees on their official site. This is of course the Philosophy Purity Cleanser (made simple). I've been wanting this one for AGES and AGES. Everyone raves about it, everyone has it, everyone loves it - and now.. I have it too! I'll try it out for the first time tonight as I remove my makeup. I'm actually EXCITED to remove my makeup.. how weird is that? lol

So all in all, this is a HUGE thank-you-post to Tuannie. THANK YOUUUUU!! ♥ I love all these things SO much! I didn't forget your package, sir! So don't you worry! ; D be excited, be be excited!! (catch the Bring it On reference *coughs* be aggressive *coughs)

No, really. This is just a little ego spam. I got bored and started playing with makeup. I'm wearing my favorite mascara that I bought in the US two years ago. The brand is a no-no, though. But how can u NOT love what it does to my useless lashes? I'm using my Nude on Nude palette (again..) Haha xD

I'm excited to get my license, even though I'm old as fuck (and smart as fuck!) compared to the ones, I'm taking the classes with. LOL. I got tomorrow off, so I'll just be chillin'..

Working girl!

Wow, it has already been over a week since my last entry. Phuu~ I'm so sorry! I wish I had so many things to talk about, but I really don't.

Sorry for looking crazy. Took this before work on weds.

As many of you know, I started working at ALDI. ALDI is a superb discount store with a huge variety of groceries and good deals. Their paying system kinda weirds me out tho. I'll be signed for 15 hours a week, and you'd think that I'd get my first paycheck on October 1st, as I started working for them on September 23rd - but no. I'll be getting my first paycheck on November 1st, but this paycheck will only contain the payment for 15 hours a week; and I've been working quite a lot more than that. My ''boss'' then told me that I'd get all extra hours (from Nov., Oct. and Sep.) AND the 15 hours a week from November on December 1st. Oh my, isn't that confusing and just.. troublesome? I'd honestly prefer a more simple system, but I guess it makes it more difficult for employees to notice that they've been screwed on the hours this way. lol. I'm signing the contract one of these days - my mom wants to see it before I sign anything though (she studies business law and stuff like that), so I'm in good hands.

Anyway.. As a little gift to myself on Nov. 1st, for being such a hardworking doll, I decided to let myself purchase one of my little DKNY lovies, that I've been CRAVING to get for almost 3 months now. I saw this when I went shopping with Tanja like 3 months ago (if not more) and I was instantly sold! But the thing is that there are TWO bags that I want..
